    They float because that way we can use it with clothes that cover the neck area.
    For example, with this one I can't use any clothing that covers, because I will be hidden.

    Oh this is sooo lovely!! I want it for myself IRL!!! I love that it does not float. I never put necklaces over clothes that cover the neck area so i hate when stuff floats. I like to put necklaces over bare skin, like I see alot for real. Love love love this!!!
